Dr. Peter Meissner
NGMN Operating Officer
Dr. Meissner has over 30 years of experience in various telecommunication fields including more than 15 years of general management responsibilities with operators of mobile communication networks. In addition, he has extensive experience in research, technology strategy and management, emerging technology assessment, innovation transfer, and organization development. From 2000 until 2006, Dr. Meissner held positions as a senior executive in Orange. He started as Chief Technical Officer with Orange Communications SA, Switzerland, and finally was responsible for Quality and Performance as Corporate Vice President with Orange SA, Paris. Prior to joining Orange, he was more than 7 years with E-Plus Mobilfunk GmbH as General Manager, Systems Engineering. Since July 2006, Dr. Meissner has been running his own company as an independent business consultant, focusing on innovation, strategy, and organization development in key areas of the telecommunications industry. One of his appointments is supporting the world's leading operators and manufacturers as Operating Officer of the Next Generation Mobile Network (NGMN) Alliance. Dr. Meissner holds degrees in Telecommunications from the Technical College of Lübeck and University of Hannover. -
Stefan Engel-Flechsig
NGMN Legal Counsel
Stefan Engel-Flechsig is practicing lawyer admitted at the bar in Cologne/Germany. His special focus of work is with ICT regulation, standardization and strategy in the global networked economy. He has held various leading positions in the wireless and the security industry and has been responsible for designing the world's first comprehensive digital signatures legislation in Germany. Mr. Engel-Flechsig has over 20 years specialized experiences in computer science, law and mobile commerce. He recently helped to create the Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP) and Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN), a powerful industry consortium of the most prominent mobile operators and leading companies in mobile handsets, applications and technology. -
Natacha Schubert
Senior Office Manager
Natacha Schubert spent many years working for the Intercontinental Hotel Group in Los Angeles, Hamburg and New York. She then switched to Deutsche Telekom / T-Systems NY as Executive Support Manager for the VP Sales & Marketing responsible among other various office management tasks for meeting and event planning. She also has experience in travel and tourism as well as restaurant management. Before joining NGMN, Natacha Schubert spent 2 years working for an Executive Search firm in Düsseldorf. At NGMN she is responsible among other for internal and external event planning, partnership management, media and public relations and overall office management. -
Sneha Malschok
Office Manager
Sneha Malschok is originally from Singapore, where she worked in several industry sectors such as advertising, banking and insurance, in sales and administrative supporting roles. She spent almost twenty years in Frankfurt working for an international Airlines as Executive Assistant , where she was responsible for administrative, marketing and Station Manager's operational functions at the airport. Sneha Malschok has a very international background and speaks English, German, Indian, Chinese and Malay. Presently, at NGMN she is responsible for all office management duties such as finance, purchasing, event and travel coordination. -
Philipp Deibert
Executive Programme Manager
Before joining NGMN, Philipp was a Senior Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton in the IT/ Communication & Technology Practice. In this position, he led multiple key assignments for major international telecom operators and vendors. His main consulting focus was in the areas of Portfolio- and Growth- Strategies, Transformation Programs and Technology Strategy. Prior to that, Philipp worked for Motorola in the UMTS network division and for German Television ZDF. He holds a masters degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Warwick, ESSEC, Mannheim. At NGMN, he is responsible for the Board meetings, PR/ Marketing and Events, Finance, Co-operation agreements, Strategy and Partner Management. -
Franck Emmerich
Senior Programme Manager
Franck Emmerich was born in Sweden and holds a degree in Master of Science in Automation Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor of Social Science in Business Administration from Blekinge Institute of Technology and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with PMI. He worked at Ericsson as a Senior Project Manager responsible for introducing new core network releases in operator networks. Franck joined the NGMN Alliance in 2007. He is responsible for the Operating Committee & the Technical Advisory Committee meetings; he is also responsible for the NGMN roadmap plan and for several technology projects, the NGMN Industry Conference Exhibitions and the NGMN Alliance IT environment. -
Dr. Osvaldo Gonsa
Senior Programme Manager
Osvaldo Gonsa was born in Panama and obtained his Ph.D. from the Yokohama National University in Japan. Initially, he worked for Sony CSL and later for Motorola Japan Research Labs. In 2005 Osvaldo moved to Germany to join the R&D and Strategy Development division of Panasonic. He has filed many patents in UMTS, LTE and LTE-A technologies, from core network protocols to radio access network. Osvaldo participated in standardisation activities in 3GPP for many years. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Japanese and German. Osvaldo joined NGMN in September 2011 where he is responsible for several technology projects, the planning of the Innovation Day, as well as for relationships to Standards Organisations and Industry Fora. -
Klaus Moschner
Senior Programme Manager
Klaus Moschner was born in Germany and holds a University degree in telecommunications from the Technical University Darmstadt in Germany. In 2000, he started working at Motorola in the UMTS network division. He first took responsibility for RF planning, pre-sales support in Germany, and, based in UK, for new product introduction of UMTS RAN and Core technologies to European operators. In 2004, he joined Motorola’s Customer Support Management being in charge of software upgrades, issue handling and escalation management. Klaus Moschner is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with PMI. He joined NGMN Ltd. in September 2011, where he is responsible for several technical projects, planning the Partner Forum and managing the programme of NGMN conferences.
