Sushil Rawat is Director of Radio Access Network (RAN) Technology Development within the Chief Technology Office at TELUS. He has end-to-end accountability for TELUS’ New Wireless technology initiative, 5G service including Voice Over NR (VoNR), ORAN, Service Management and Orchestration platform (SMO) for scalable network deployment and operation. ​

With over 20 years of global telecom experience spanning RAN engineering, planning, and operations, Mr. Rawat has diverse industry experience with both wireless suppliers and service providers in CDMA, LTE, and 5G technologies. He played an instrumental role in ORAN productization at both TELUS and Rakuten Mobile, Japan.
