Vice President of the mobile business division, Chunghwa Telecom

Dr. Chung-Yung Chia is Vice President of the mobile business division in Chunghwa since July 2021 and leads the planning, engineering, and operation department of the mobile business. Dr. Chia is telecom veteran and has been working for 33 years in Chunghwa and started his career as researcher in wireless technology laboratories and then as the leader of wireless research project, focus on 3G/4G/5G CORE and RAN technology and standardization. Prior to his current role, he held a variety of roles and scopes in mobile business division, including the deputy M.D. of engineering, M.D. of engineering and M.D. of operation department and then promoted to the Deputy Vice President. Dr. Chia receives the Ph.D. degree of Information Technology from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.
